H-E-B still limits chitlins across Texas

The demand for chitlins remains strong throughout the Lone Star State, apparently.
H-E-B still has purchasing limits on the product. All Texas customers are only allowed to buy two 5- or 10-pound packages of frozen chitlins per shopping trip. The limit applied to all stores since it took effect in November just before Thanksgiving as Madalyn Mendoza reported on MySA.com.
For the uneducated, chitlins (which is just a less fancy word for chitterlings according to Cory Williams at yahoo.com) are cooked pig intestines and yes, as the internet often asks on google, they do contain pig feces which is why they have to be properly cooked.

SAN ANTONIO – Perhaps the most coveted item of the year toilet paper is no longer under a purchasing limit at H-E-B stores.
The San Antonio-based grocery chain updated its list of product purchasing limits on Saturday, and consumers will notice some key items no longer on the roll.
Bath tissue and paper towels, which had a limit of two each, have been removed. The items were added to the list in late October after they were removed following the early-on toilet paper rush.
