Jenson, who was off-duty at the time, is believed to have joined the chase near Fort Lupton, according to the report. He was driving a green Toyota 4Runner.

Mr. Cordova, who lives in Eaton, allegedly drove his maroon SUV into a park where a crowd of 100-300 people had gathered for a “Defend the Police” rally sponsored by the Northern Colorado Young Republicans, swerving toward attendees and forcing them to scramble out of his way. “I turned to look at what was going on and heard him squeal his tires and turn around to face Heritage Market,” Eaton resident Carlee Hauska told Complete Colorado. “He just floored it and went into the grass.”

Greeley Man Killed New Years Weekend Identified A man who was killed in Greeley over New Years weekend has now been identified. According to the Greeley Tribune, the Weld County Coroner s Office identified the man on Tuesday (Jan. 5) as 36-year-old Timothy Trey Maloney. Maloney was found dead at about 12:07 a.m. on Saturday (Jan. 2) at an apartment complex in the 2300 block of 16th Street. The nature of Maloney s injuries were not specified. Police arrested Rosalio Mancha-Enriquez, 23, who resided in the apartment outside of which Maloney was found, on suspicion of first-degree murder. Mancha-Enriquez is being held at the Weld County Jail without bond; The Weld County District Attorney’s Office only has until 3:30 p.m. Wednesday (Jan. 6) to file formal charges in this case.

A man in Weld County was sentenced to 208 years in prison on Wednesday for shooting at deputies, resulting in one injury in 2018, said the Weld County District Attorney s (DA) office.  Ismeldo Junior Arredondo will serve his time in the Colorado Department of Corrections, the DA said.  Weld County deputies were called in August 2018 to a domestic disturbance at a home on C Street just outside of Greeley city limits, according to the DA.
