FAIRBANKS, Alaska (KTVF) - After an unprecedented year studying in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, 10 students from the University of Alaska Fairbanks (UAF) Community and Technical College (CTC) Paramedic Program have graduated from the Academy’s intensive three-semester program. The majority of the students of the Paramedic Academy are residents of Alaska with students from the Interior, Valdez, and Scammon Bay. Students completed their internships in Connecticut, Mississippi, Texas, Nevada, and Oregon during the summer. With the help of CTC industry partners, Fairbanks Memorial Hospital and Fairbanks Fire Department, the students from the 2020 -2021 Paramedic Academy were able to gain valuable real world experience.
