Coronavirus vaccinations might help COVID-19 patients suffering from long-term symptoms, The Washington Post reported on Tuesday.
Similar, tentative findings were reported by an Israeli military-run task force earlier this week.
After getting vaccinated, several people suffering from “Long COVID” are reporting alleviated symptoms on social media, according to The Washington Post.
Long COVID, a phenomenon in which those infected with the virus continue to experience lingering symptoms for months after contagion, is still relatively mysterious, with no consensus on the condition among clinicians and researchers.

Highly transmissible coronavirus variant first found in California detected on UT campus
A highly transmissible coronavirus strain first detected in California has been identified on the University of Texas campus, officials said Monday.
This is the second coronavirus variant found on campus since a case of the United Kingdom variant was identified at the campus last month.
In an email Monday sent out to the university community, officials said they had detected a case of the new variant and were asking students to follow social distancing guidelines and get tested on campus.
“To help prevent exporting or importing variants if traveling for spring break, and to prevent a surge in cases after spring break, it is critical that members of our community strictly follow public health measures,” officials wrote.
