DACC EMS director receives state award From Staff Reports LAS CRUCES - Dr. Benjamin Diven, who serves as medical director for several entities in southern New Mexico, has been recognized by the New Mexico Department of Health. Diven was awarded the Tim Fleming Medical Director of the Year award during the New Mexico EMS ceremonies held Thursday, April 8 This award recognizes a physician who serves the EMS system through meritoriously executing their duties as an EMS medical director.   Diven serves as the medical director for Doña Ana Community College s Emergency Medical Services program, the Las Cruces Fire Department, Doña Ana County Fire and Rescue Department, New Mexico State University Fire Department, NMSU Police Department and Mesilla Valley Regional Dispatch Authority.
