Richmark Real Estate Partners LLC, the Greeley-based real estate development and investment company that owns numerous properties along the Eighth Avenue corridor, has submitted plans for a grocery store at 1320 Eighth Ave.
The store would be located in the long-vacant Downtown Deals on Wheels building. Richmark acquired the property in December 2015 for $1.2 million.

Christopher Ashworth is a third-year student at the University of Northern Colorado, who lives at the top floor of Turner Hall and likes to play video games with his friends across the world, online. To his friends, Ashworth says he is known for his dry sense of humor, but ever since he could remember, Ashworth has had to deal with depressive thoughts. About a week into his freshman year in 2017, Ashworth failed his first calculus test and found himself dealing with some incredibly dark, depressing thoughts.
âI had always struggled with depression as a teenager, but, like, my family didnât believe in therapy, so I never really received help for it. So, I thought it would be good for me to, you know, actually receive professional help,â Ashworth said.

Despite a year of many changes locally and nationally, Craig Kiwanis Club went the distance to fulfill its mission of supporting area students.
And, that’s even without the group’s biggest fundraiser.
The local branch of the service organization provided more than $15,000 in scholarship funds this week to Moffat County High School students.
Kiwanis’s usual big draw for money is ticket sales for its annual March play, a satire of current events. However, this year the show could not go on due to concerns about a public gathering amid the coronavirus pandemic.
