CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (WVIR) - Charlottesville police are looking for 32-year-old Alexander Antonio Rogers of Albemarle County in connection with a shooting on Prospect Avenue.
According to authorities, the shooting happened in the 700 block around 10:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 13. Responding officers found a man at the scene with a gunshot wound to the chest. The victim was taken to the University of Virginia Medical Center and is listed in stable condition.

WAYNESBORO A teenage boy is dead of a suspected overdose and a Waynesboro man has been charged in connection with his death, according to the Waynesboro Police Department.
On March 29, authorities responded to a home on the city s west end following a report of a teenager overdosing, a press release said. The teen was taken to Augusta Health in Fishersville and later transferred to the University of Virginia Medical Center in Charlottesville, where he was initially listed in critical condition.
The unidentified teen died Saturday night.
The press release said investigators with the Waynesboro Police Department executed a search warrant at a residence in the 600 block of North Augusta Avenue. On Friday, arrest warrants were issued for Dylan Wright, 20, of Waynesboro.
