His role has seen him support officers and staff at the worst times of their lives and in the most challenging circumstances, but also cheering them on and celebrating with them at the best of times.

A teaching union wants to see granular modelling of the science around Covid transmission ahead of pupils to return to school.
But the Association of School and College Leaders Cymru (ASCL) wants to know more about the impact a return to face-to-face teaching in schools.
The Welsh Government says it considers all of the latest scientific evidence .
On Friday, Mr Drakeford said the youngest primary school pupils may be able to return to the classroom from 22 February.
He also said he hoped older pupils and college students who had to do vocational examinations could also have a phased return to schools and colleges after half-term.

Most of Wales universities say they are delaying a return to in-person teaching because of the new coronavirus variant.
The Welsh Government has resisted calls for a Wales-wide timetable for students returning.
The National Union of Students (NUS) said students were confused and anxious and called on the Welsh Government to give a crystal clear message.
The Welsh Government said institutions would look at individual circumstances within national guidance as part of a phased return from 11 January.

Children without access to a laptop are being denied support for home-schooling by means testing, a charity says.
But Child Poverty Action Group in Wales said some schools were only offering help to children on free school meals.
The Welsh Government said it had distributed over 74,000 devices to local authorities and 58,000 more were expected within weeks.
Ellie Harwood from the charity told BBC Radio Wales: We ve been hearing that not everyone who needs these devices has been able to get them.
