New Urgent Care to open in Zanesville
MUSKINGUM COUNTY, Ohio- Muskingum Valley Health Center is adding a new Urgent Care facility to the Zanesville area.
Urgent Care will be opened on May 24. There are three other urgent care facilities in Morgan, Guernsey and Coshocton Counties. MVHC CEO Dan Atkinson said this new location will provide access to those in the underserved area.
“We looked at the number of patients and the population in this region and realized adding this access point between our Adair office and the location we have on Pinkerton Lane would be extremely valuable, especially in light of the fact that many of our community members struggle with transportation,” CEO of MVHC Dan Atkinson said.

The Columbus Dispatch
COLUMBUS, Ohio Every year, Arturo pays thousands of dollars in taxes from the revenue produced by his central Ohio-based painting company.
But he will never receive Social Security benefits. Or Medicare. Or Medicaid.
That s because Arturo, whose last name is not being used for his safety, is an undocumented immigrant from Mexico one of about 6 million who pay taxes annually, according to the Congressional Budget Office.
A report from the office shows that 50% to 75% of undocumented immigrants pay billions in taxes each year and have been since the Internal Revenue Service created a program 25 years ago allowing people without a Social Security number to file taxes.
