The United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Bahrain, Oman, Qatar, and Lebanon have strongly condemned the terrorist attack, affirming their solidarity with the kingdom against these destabilizing terrorist attacks and every threat to its security and the security of global navigation and trade. The UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation said the attack is “new evidence of terrorist groups’ endeavors to undermine regional security and stability.”

Arab nations condemn bomb attack on oil tanker in Jeddah port

DUBAI: Arab nations condemned what has been labeled as a “terrorists attack” on an oil tanker as it unloaded fuel at Jeddah port. A small boat laden with explosives targeting on the Singapore-flagged BW Rhine, which was carrying 60,000 tons of gasoline, causing an explosion and a fire on board. The ship’s crew put out the fire and there were no casualties, but parts of the vessel’s hull were damaged. Kuwait expressed its strong condemnation of the attack, stating that the continuation of “these terrorist acts” on Saudi Arabia threaten the stability of the region, state news agency SPA reported.
