Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan and Sri Lankan President Gotabaya Rajapaksa on Wednesday discussed areas of common interest like tourism and agriculture and ways to strengthen political and trade ties for their mutual benefit.
Khan, who is here on a two-day visit, called on Rajapaksa at the Presidential Secretariat here and held a one-on-one meeting with him.

New Delhi: India granted permission to overfly Indian airspace for the aircraft carrying Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan en route to Sri Lanka on Tuesday evening, news agencies reported. Permission was reportedly granted despite the fact that Pakistan had refused permission in 2019 on three occasions for Indian VVIP aircraft carrying President Ram Nath Kovind and Prime Minister Narendra Modi to overfly Pakistani airspace.

Colombo (News 1st); Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan concluded his two-day official visit to Sri Lanka on Wednesday (24) following meetings with the President, Prime Minister and others.
Prime Minister Imran Khan was accompanied by a high-level delegation, comprising Federal Ministers and senior Government officials.
This was the first visit by the Prime Minister of Pakistan to Sri Lanka since the formation of the new governments in both countries.
During the visit, Prime Minister Imran Khan held delegation-level meetings with President Gotabaya Rajapaksa and Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa of Sri Lanka.
