Oregon reports 3 COVID-19 related deaths, 388 new cases; lowest case count in nearly a month
PORTLAND, Ore. (KTVZ) There are three new COVID-19 related deaths in Oregon, raising the state’s death toll to 2,533, the Oregon Health Authority reported Monday.
Oregon Health Authority reported 388 new confirmed and presumptive cases of COVID-19 as of 12:01 a.m. Monday, bringing the state total to 191,774. That is the lowest daily case count reported by OHA since April 12, when 294 cases were reported around the state.
Vaccinations in Oregon
OHA reported Monday that 28,659 new doses of COVID-19 vaccinations were added to the state immunization registry. Of this total, 22,263 doses were administered on Sunday and 6,396 were administered on previous days but were entered into the vaccine registry on Sunday.

Twin Study Shows Spanking Can Lead To Antisocial Behavior
Harsh parenting practices such as spanking, not genetics, are linked to higher levels of behavior problems in children, according to a new study with twins.

Among identical twins whose genes match perfectly but whose parents punished differently, the children who were spanked or yelled at more had a higher likelihood of showing antisocial behavior.
