OFFICIAL PRESS RELEASE Bauer Media
Bauer Media UK’s weekly real-life title that’s life is to increase the frequency of its true-crime spin-off Crime Scene to monthly .
Launched in 2015 as a one-shot and thereafter published five times a year, Crime Scene features a unique mix of first person real-life crime, and crime-themed puzzles and prizes which have already proved to be popular with readers.
Crime Scene includes hard-hitting UK stories featuring women who have been victims of, or witnesses to, terrible crimes. In an echo to its parent title, that’s life!, the dramatic stories are offset by lighter elements, such as cops behaving badly, quizzes to find out if you’d make a good detective and confessions about how readers got back at cheating partners.
Radio DJ Andy Baird has been suspended from his weekly slot on Cool FM over controversial social media posts about Donald Trump, the US election and recent violence in Washington DC.
The presenter, described as the superhero of the station on Cool FM s website, hosts the weekend breakfast show every Sunday morning.
He was suspended from his role yesterday after dozens of controversial tweets emerged in which he appears to support the violence witnessed at the US Capitol building last week, spreads coronavirus conspiracy theories and mocks the Clap for Carers initiative.
Cool FM is owned and run by Bauer Media UK who said in a statement: Andy Baird is a freelance presenter with a Sunday Show on Cool FM.
