Ericsson has filed a lawsuit in the United States against Samsung in a dispute over royalty payments and patent licences, sending Ericsson s shares sharply lower on Friday as it warned the quarrel could hit earnings.
The Greater Noida Authority on Thursday allotted as many as 44 industrial plots, including a 20-acre land parcel in Knowledge Park 5 to Mumbai’s Hiranandani group for setting up the region’s first data centre.
Ericsson said it filed a lawsuit in the U.S District Court for the Eastern District of Texas, against Samsung, for violating contractual commitments to negotiate in good faith and to license patents on Fair, Reasonable and Non-Discriminatory (FRAND) terms and conditions.

DEHRADUN: A large number of Nepalese citizens carrying Indian Aadhaar cards while entering the border town of Banbasa in Champawat district of Uttarakhand, along the Indo-Nepal border, have raised concerns among the Indian authorities.
Officials said that the matter has been informed to senior officials.
Sub-divisional magistrate of Tanakpur in Champawat district Himanshu Kafaltia said, The issue has been covered to senior officers. This came to light as we are all vigilant and conduct requisite checkings.
