A young woman spiralled into drug addiction, homelessness and crime after allegedly being introduced to the drug GHB by a toxic ex-partner.
Ashley Wigney, 25, from Logan, south of Brisbane, has been behind bars since December last year after being arrested over a string of offences.
One of these included Wigney allegedly crashing a stolen car into a parked vehicle, causing $7,000 worth of damage, only to flee the scene.
The young woman, who is being held at the Brisbane Women s Correctional Centre, appeared in Beenleigh Magistrates Court on Tuesday via videolink and pleaded guilty to 25 offences, the Courier Mail reported.
