A driver who was three times over the alcohol limit when he killed a nine-year-old boy on a footpath on Christmas Day in 2016 has applied to get his licence back.
Adrian John Murray was released on parole in February 2020 after serving two years and two months for dangerous operation causing death whilst adversely affected by an intoxicating substance.

He hit and killed Josiah Sisson in the Logan suburb of Springwood, south of Brisbane, when he lost control of his car, mounted the footpath and hit the boy, who was looking at Christmas lights with his family.
