Bibb deputies arrest nurse suspected of taking contraband to inmate

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) Bibb County Sheriff’s investigators arrested a Correct Health nurse in connection with bringing contraband to an inmate.
Investigators identified the nurse as
47-year-old Brandi Delaine Thompson.
According to a news release from the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office, deputies arrested Thompson on Tuesday. Investigators say Thompson took contraband to the inmate while working at the Bibb County Law Enforcement Center.
Thompson also took cigarettes to the inmate while he worked at the Car Wash detail on Hazel Street, investigators say. Authorities monitored the car wash and saw Thompson dropping off the cigarettes to the inmate.

MACON, Ga. Two more people are charged in the shooting that left 1 Macon teen dead and another injured.
A news release from the Bibb County Sheriff s Office says investigators had warrants issued for the arrests of 17-year-old Keymarion Javontae Manor and 15-year-old Naylan Jon’Tez Woodford, in connection to the case.
Investigators and members of the U.S. Marshal’s Southeast Fugitive Task Force found and arrested Manor and Woodford at the Green Meadows Apartment Complex on Wednesday.
Investigators interviewed Manor and he was taken to the Bibb County Law Enforcement Center. Woodford was interviewed and taken to the Macon RYDC.

Bibb County Sheriff deputies looking for two additional suspects in the murder of 16-year-old Elijah Jones.
MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) Bibb County Sheriff’s investigators issued arrest warrants for two teens in connection with the murder of 16-year-old Elijah Jones.
Authorities identified the suspects as:
Keymarion Javontae Manor, 17
Naylan Jon’Tez Woodford, 15
Investigators and the U.S. Marshal’s Southeast Fugitive Task Force found and arrested both Manor and Woodford without incident at Green Meadows Apartment Complex.
Keymarion Manor charges
Deputies took Manor to the Bibb County Law Enforcement Center, and they charged him with murder and aggravated assault. Authorities have set no bond for him.
Authorities identified suspects as:
Jaquandre Burden, 17
Investigators say that Jones reportedly wanted to sell a gun to people on Scotland Avenue Monday. Jones drove a Kia Sorento and Tyrin Riggins rode as the passenger.
Authorities say while Jones and Riggins sat inside the vehicle, several people approached them. One of the people reached inside the vehicle and tried to take the gun from Jones.
As Jones tried to drive off, someone fired shots into the vehicle striking Jones in the upper torso and Riggins in the leg. Riggins pulled Jones into the passenger seat and he moved into the driver’s seat. He then drove to a friend’s home at the Sandy Springs Apartment complex on Bloomfield Road, according to investigators.
3 suspects arrested in armed robbery of store on Anthony Road in Macon

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) Bibb County Sheriff’s investigators arrested three people in connection with the First Dani Store armed robbery on Anthony Road.
Deputies say the incident happened on December 8.
Authorities identified the suspects as:
Ronnie Eugene Chatfield Jr., 30
Victoria Elizabeth Jenkins, 30
13-year-old juvenile
Investigators say that Jenkins worked as a night shift clerk at the store. Chatfield, her boyfriend, worked as a security guard. However, they were both off duty when the armed robbery happened.
Authorities say the couple worked together with Chatfield’s nephew, a 13-year-old juvenile, to commit the armed robbery.
