Blood at scene used to track St Leonards business burglar

A thief was caught after his blood was found at a business he had burgled in London Road, St Leonards A THIEF was tracked down by police after his blood was found on the window ledge of a burgled business. Officers were flagged down by a member of the public in London Road, St Leonards, on November 16 after a business in the road was broken into. They found the windows had been smashed and several watches were missing from the store. A specialist crime scene investigation team was called in, and members were able to find some blots of blood on a window ledge.

Women are banned from owning horses for a decade

Two women were today banned from owning horses for a decade after one was found so hungry it was eating a wooden fence post. Shocking footage shows an emaciated 15-year-old ex-racehorse, called Magic, chewing a wooden fence post - having been found severely underweight. Inspectors from the RSPCA added that the field in West Sussex where the horses were kept was 75 per cent flooded and deep with mud , and that trees and hedges had been stripped of their bark by the horses.
