Troopers seize guns, blank credit cards, and cash in Troy grocery scam

TROY, N.Y. — New York State Police recently arrested three men following an investigation into the theft of more than $13,000 worth of groceries from Hannaford Supermarkets.   State Police uniformed and BCI members from State Police in Brunswick, State Police in Latham, and State Police in Schodack, as well as investigators from multiple state police specialized units, executed search warrants at the Titantic Market and two private residences in the city of Troy on Wednesday morning. The warrants were obtained in an investigation into the use of stolen credit card information to purchase over $13,000 worth of groceries from Hannaford Supermarkets.  Nasere S. Bell, 21, of Troy and Andrew T. Watts, 21, of Troy, are accused of using stolen identities and associated credit card information to purchase groceries through the Hannaford To Go delivery service.
