Among the arrestees, 197 are Hefajat-e-Islam activists and supporters, 37 BNP and three Jamaat-e-Islami activists.
More than 39,000 people have been made accused in 55 cases filed over the mayhem in Brahmanbaria.
Forty-nine of the total cases have been filed with Brahmanbaria Sadar Model Police Station, three with Ashuganj Police Station, two with Sarail Police Station and one in Akhaura Railway Police Station.
Police have mentioned names of 414 accused in the case statements while the rest remain as unnamed.
When contacted, ASP (crime and administration) Md Roish Uddin told The Daily Star that police are identifying the perpetrators from video footages and still images.

Twenty rounds of bullets, which were snatched from a policeman during clashes between police and Hefajat-e-Islam activists in Brahmanbaria, have been recovered two weeks after the incident.
The bullets were recovered from a sweets shop in Suhilpur Bazar of Brahmanbaria Sadar upazila last night, Special Branch (SB) of district police confirmed to The Daily Star.
Police have also arrested two accused Arab Ali (40) of Dakshin Kendubari village and Monir Mia (42) of Suhilpur village in Brahmanbaria Sadar upazila in the case filed at Brahmanbaria Sadar Model Police Station, said Md Imtiaz Ahammed, officer-in-charge of the special branch.

Police on Friday night recovered 20 bullets which were snatched from a cop by some Hefajat-e-Islam activists in Brahmanbaria s Nandanpur area on March 27.
Meanwhile, three more cases were filed in Narayanganj on Friday in connection with vandalism over the confinement of Hefajat Joint Secretary General Mamunul Haque to a resort in the district s Sonargaon on April 3.
Police recovered the bullets from a sweetmeat shop in Suhilpur Bazar of Brahmanbaria, said Md Imtiaz Ahammed, officer-in-charge at the Special Branch(SB) of police.
Law enforcers also arrested two people from Brahmanbaria s Suhilpur on Friday in connection with the recovery of the bullets. The arrestees Arab Ali, 40, of Dakshin Kendubari village, and Monir Mia, 42, of Suhilpur village in Sadar upazila, are fruit traders.
