David Goddard, 53, of Oak Avenue, Bradford, was given a 12-month conditional discharge, ordered to pay £7 compensation, for stealing various items worth £17, belonging to Marks and Spencer BP petrol station, Keighley Road, Bingley, on May 2, 2021.

FIVE people from Bradford have been fined or given community orders for assaulting a police officer. These people have all appeared in Bradford & Keighley Magistrates Court this month: Mohammed Ali Atif, 21, of Coates Street, Bradford, was given a community order, including ordered to carry out 100 hours unpaid work in the community, to pay £50 compensation, a £95 victim surcharge and £85 costs for assault by beating of an emergency worker, a police officer, on February 2, 2021. Jack Hadley, 19, of High Poplars, Bradford, was given a community order, ordered to carry out 50 hours unpaid work in the community, to pay £100 compensation, a £95 victim surcharge and £85 costs for assault by beating of an emergency worker, a police officer, on November 19, 2020.

Bradford woman jailed for stealing items from string of city shops A BRADFORD woman has been jailed for a total of 30 weeks for stealing items from a host of shops in the city. Susanne McWilliams, 51, of Boldshay Street, Barkerend, was jailed for theft at supermarkets and shops. She was jailed for 18 weeks consecutively for stealing £103.30 worth of items from Morrisons in Bradford Road, Idle, on May 4, 2021.  She was also ordered to pay a £128 victim surcharge. McWilliams was also jailed for stealing £85 worth of items from Sainsbury s in Harrogate Road, Bradford, on May 4, 2021. She was also sentenced for stealing items to an unknown value from B&M, Woodhall Centre, Woodhall Road, on April 7, 2021.

Three more men arrested in Mujahid Hussain murder probe | Bradford Telegraph and Argus

THREE further arrests have been made following the murder of a man in Bradford. Muhammed Mujahid Hussain, 19, died from a single knife wound after being stabbed following disorder in Duckworth Lane on Thursday night into Friday morning. Three men, all aged 25, have been arrested today; one for violent disorder and two for assisting an offender. All three remain in police custody at this time, a West Yorkshire Police spokesman said. Four males appeared at Bradford & Keighley Magistrates’ Court today charged with various offences. Hashim Sajjad, 19, of Wheatlands Crescent, Bradford, has been charged with murder and attempt section 18 wounding. The other three males charged with attempt section 18 wounding are a 16-year-old and two 17-year-olds who cannot be named for legal reasons.
