Delaware County Begins Waiting List for COVID-19 Vaccine – Mix 94 7 KMCH

The following is a note from Regional Medical Center, Regional Family Health, and Delaware County Public Health: It is welcome news that many people in our communities are ready and excited to get the COVID-19 vaccine. Delaware County continues to follow the guidelines for vaccine administration as directed by the Iowa Department of Public Health. Like other counties, there have been challenges in Delaware County with the COVID-19 vaccine rollout as demand is very high and supply is low and have appreciated the feedback from the community on how things are going. Everyone involved in the administration process has worked diligently to try to provide the most fair distribution process while receiving limited supply and following state regulations.

Third COVID-19 Vaccine Clinic Announced in Delaware County – Mix 94 7 KMCH

Delaware County announced its third COVID-19 vaccine clinic on Wednesday morning – and once again, it filled quickly. Regional Family Health will host a COVID-19 vaccine clinic on Thursday for those 65 years and older. With only 160 doses available, the clinic was filled in just over a half hour. Delaware County Announces Second COVID-19 Vaccine Clinic – Mix 94 7 KMCH

Delaware County has announced their second COVID-19 vaccine clinic. Regional Family Health will host a COVID-19 vaccine clinic Wednesday, February 3rd starting at 3 pm. Supply is VERY limited for this clinic with only 100 doses available. This clinic is for those age 65 and older. Appointments are required and will be booked on a first-come first-served basis. Phone lines will open to schedule appointments today (February 2nd) at 2 pm and no earlier. Call 563-927-7600. Once the clinic is filled, there will be a voicemail on this number indicating as such. They are not maintaining a waiting list. The intention for the clinics they are holding is to get Delaware County residents and those served by Regional Medical Center and Regional Family Health vaccinated.

Delaware County s Second COVID-19 Vaccine Clinic Filled in Half Hour – Mix 94 7 KMCH

Delaware County announced on Tuesday that they would be hosting a second COVID-19 vaccine clinic on Wednesday afternoon – and just like last time, the appointments were filled within a half hour. Regional Family Health opened their phone line for appointments at 2 pm Tuesday, with one hundred available appointments. They were all filled before 2:30 pm. The appointments have been available to ages 65 and older on a first-come first-serve basis. Regional Family Health says the clinics are intended for Delaware County residents or anyone they serve through Regional Family Health and Regional Medical Center. The Iowa Department of Public Health says over 1,300 vaccinations have been given in Delaware County so far. Beginning in December, vaccines were available to healthcare personnel and long-term care facility residents and staff as Phase 1A of the vaccination process got underway.
