Wayne native to represent New Jersey and Team USA on Olympic fencing team News 12 Staff Updated on: Jun 26, 2021, 1:00am Wayne native Francesca Russo will represent New Jersey and Team USA at the Tokyo Olympics next month on the fencing team. The 25-year-old qualified for the team event in women s saber. Russo is a four-time state champion for Wayne Valley High School, a two-time national champion for Notre Dame, and a junior world champion. The women s saber team also features another Jersey girl - Avenel s Dagmara Wozniak. She helped Team USA capture bronze in the team event five years ago.
