PASIG CITY, Jan. 6 (PIA) The Department of National Defense (DND) on Wednesday extended its condolences with the family and loved ones of Metro Manila Development Authority (MMDA) Chairperson Danilo Delapuz Lim who died at the age of 65.
Defense Secretary Delfin Lorenzana, in a statement, called Lim an “esteemed leader who valued public service above all else.”
Lim, a retired military general, died Wednesday morning due to cardiac arrest, according to the MMDA in a statement sent to the
PIA-NCR.
“With the passing of General Lim, the country lost an esteemed leader, who valued public service above all else. His vision, which he carried through from his beginnings as a young officer in the Armed Forces of the Philippines to his later years as a civilian public servant, was to uphold good governance and lead by example,” Lorenzana said.
