NEW HAVEN, Conn. New Haven Police are investigating a deadly crash that happened on Sunday evening.
Details are still emerging, but emergency officials tell FOX61 they were called to Quinnipiac Avenue near Essex Street at 6:22 p.m. A motorcyle and automobile had collided and one person was killed.
The New Haven Police Department s Accident Reconstruction Team was dispatched to investigate this fatal accident.

A man has died after he lost control of his motorcycle and hit a parked car in New Haven on Sunday night, according to police.
Officers said 23-year-old Gerver Sinay-Sacrapal, of New Haven, was driving a Kawasaki EX400 motorcycle and was traveling southbound on Quinnipiac Avenue near Essex Street around 6:30 p.m. Download our mobile app for iOS or Android to get alerts for local breaking news and weather.
When Sinay-Sacrapal attempted to pass a vehicle, authorities said he lost control of the motorcycle, hit an unoccupied, parked car and was ejected from the motorcycle.
