Riot Fest returning to Chicago this summer

CHICAGO - Riot Fest is returning to Chicago late this summer after being canceled last year due to the pandemic.
Riot Fest posted on their website that the music event will take place September 17-19 in Douglass Park.
The 3-day passes have already sold out, but single day tickets will go on sale next week.
The lineup for this year’s Riot Fest is star-studded, with Nine Inch Nails, Smashing Pumpkins and Run the Jewels set to headline.
Other bands included are: Pixies, Faith No More, Devo, Mr. Bungle, Coheed and Cambria, Taking Back Sunday, Dirty Heads, Sublime with Rome, Lupe Fiasco, Vic Mensa, NOFX, New Found Glory, Circle Jerks, Simple Plan, Dinosaur Jr., The Ghost Inside, Gogol Bordello, Motion City Soundtrack, and more.

Nine Inch Nails, and Run The Jewels are among the acts on the Riot Fest 2021 lineup. The event returns to Douglass Park in Chicago on September 17 – 19. Organizers also confirmed the dates of Riot Fest 2022 (September 16 – 18, 2022) that will feature headliners My Chemical Romance, who were previously slated to play the 2021 fest. Tickets for both festivals are on sale now.

Riot Fest is officially back! With more people getting vaccinated and governors across the country dropping mask mandates, it’s looking like this summer and this fall will finally start looking a little bit like the Before Times which means, more live music. Festival organizers have released the lineup for this year’s Riot Fest and it’s pretty great. Nine Inch Nails, Smashing Pumpkins, and Run The Jewels have all signed on to headline.
