GUIYANG, May 3 (Xinhua) An international land-sea logistics port has started operation in southwest China s Guizhou Province with an annual transportation capacity of approximately 5 million tonnes.
The Dulaying international land-sea logistics port, located in the provincial capital Guiyang, recently saw its first train loaded with 1,650 tonnes of bauxite depart for the Qinzhou port in south China s Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, from where the cargo would be shipped abroad.
The port is a key station listed in the development plan of the New International Land-Sea Trade Corridor, a trade and logistics passage jointly built by Singapore and provincial-level regions of western China.
