Delaware County’s first case of the highly-contagious COVID-19 U.K. variant is just the eighth identified in the Southern Tier and only the second discovered outside of Tompkins County.

On Monday, the county’s Public Health Commissioner Michael Mendoza spoke to members of the county legislature as they asked when students can return to in–person learning.
