Why Did God Harden Pharaoh s Heart in Exodus?

Why Did God ‘Harden’ Pharaoh’s Heart in Exodus? Dawn Wilson Crosswalk.com Contributing Writer 2021 12 Feb In his pride the wicked man does not seek Him; in all his thoughts there is no room for God.” Pride was the root of wicked Pharaoh’s problem in the book of Exodus a sin that hardened his heart over time, but the Bible tells us God also hardened Pharaoh’s heart. What can we learn from this Egyptian ruler’s downward spiral into destruction? What Role Did Pharaoh Play in the Story of Moses and the Israelites in Egypt? The Pharaoh who oppressed Israel was not the ruler Joseph knew (Exodus 1:8). Some believe this new Pharaoh was Rameses also spelled Ramses or Ramesses. Rameses is the name of a city during the exodus (1:11). But the Bible does not give us this ruler’s name. Archaeology gives some clues, but ancient Egyptian history is confusing and unreliable. Stephen Moore Discusses Biden s Crazy Economic Moves

Monday on the evening edition of  The Chad Hasty Show, Stephen Moore, author and former advisor to President Donald Trump, joined the program to discuss President Joe Biden s early performance on the economic front. Moore described Biden s policy decisions and edicts as being obviously designed to quickly inflict major economic damage on the country, and increase citizen s dependence on the government for survival. Moore said, Biden clearly is not putting the economy first.Think about this: We re in an education crisis with so many schools closed down around the country, we ve got to get the economy reopened in a lot of the states, we ve got to deal obviously with the vaccine and the health crisis of COVID, and Biden s running around shutting down our businesses because of climate change. What You Need to Know about Hezekiah in the Bible

What You Need to Know about Hezekiah in the Bible Dawn Wilson 31 Jan Hezekiah was a remarkable king, used by God to rescue Jerusalem from the Assyrians and bring reform and revival to Judah. He is known for his God-honoring prayer life, a remarkable miracle, and a tragic choice. Where Does the Bible Mention Hezekiah? Hezekiah’s godliness was in direct contrast to his father’s wickedness. King Ahaz was an evil, idolatrous king. During the reign of Ahaz, the people of Israel said they feared God, but simultaneously they practiced idolatry (2 Kings 17:33). Hezekiah was the 13 th successor of David, reigning in Judah’s southern kingdom. He reigned for 29 years approximately 715-686 BC beginning at age 25 (2 Kings 18:2). His reign began in the third year of Hoshea’s reign over the northern kingdom of Israel in Samaria (2 Kings 18:1-3), and it coincided with the ministry of two of God’s prophets, Isaiah and Micah.
