IIIT Delhi develops smart automated hand sanitiser machine
01 March 2021 | News The machine has provisions to offer dual-mode operation (either AC or DC power supply), the level indicator, low sanitiser level alarm, temperature sensing, data logging etc.
The Electronics and Communications Engineering (ECE) Labs at the Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology (IIIT) Delhi has developed a smart automated hand sanitiser machine.
The machine drops a fixed (controlled) amount of sanitiser after the presence of hands. It waits for some fixed time before the next shot, in case the user needs more amount. This mechanism avoids the excessive waste of sanitiser, making it extremely safe for use in the current pandemic.
