Money Smart Week will offer virtual events April 10-17.
Content will be provided by government, nonprofit and educational institutions through a combination of 10- to 15-minute presentations, checklists, toolkits and various resources. Programming will focus on supporting the needs of low-to-moderate income households to encourage greater financial well-being in their communities.

The Illinois Secretary of State’s Office is hosting a week of virtual sessions to help people learn to manage their personal finances and to avoid fraud.
Money Smart Week starts Saturday and continues through April 17. It will feature events and resources on money-centered topics such as student loans, budgeting, saving, banking and fraud.
