ALPENA, Mich.– Many Alpena churches are proceeding with their new normal for Christmas Eve service.
The First Congregational United Church actually recorded their Christmas eve service tonight.
The plan is in line with their strategy for keeping congregants safe.
The Church’s weekly services have been online–only for several months.
Reverend Dr. H. Robert Case said people will be able to watch the service as early as Thursday morning.
Many other churches, however, are taking another route.
All Saints Catholic Parish will be continuing with its restricted capacity service.
Members of the Parish can call ahead to reserve a place. Those who can’t make it in person can watch the livestreams.
