Written By: Brainerd Dispatch | × Lord of Life Lutheran Church welcomes congregation back to in-building worship BAXTER Sunday, Feb. 7, marked the return to in-building worship at Lord of Life Lutheran Church in Baxter. About 35 worshipers attended the service and were greeted by Senior Pastor Steven Rye, who presided over the service and said in his sermon that both the decision to return to in-building worship and the decision to remain at distance for most of 2020 came from a love of Lord of Life’s congregation and the community. For the immediate future, in-building services at Lord of Life will be 9 a.m. Sundays, with the exception of an Ash Wednesday service the evening of 7 p.m. Feb. 17. At this time, no reservations are required to attend, but the church is continuing to monitor the situation and will make changes as needed to ensure the safety of the congregation.
