Pennsylvania State Senator Dave Arnold has died

Pennsylvania State Senator Dave Arnold (R-48th, Lebanon County) died Sunday following a battle with brain cancer.Arnold was elected to represent the 48th Senatorial District in a special election held on Jan. 14, 2020. The 48th District includes the entirety of Lebanon County, northern York County and southern Dauphin County. Arnold’s primary legislative objectives were in ensuring the public’s safety, the reformation of property tax and a reduction in government spending.Arnold graduated from Widener University School of Law in May of 1996 and passed the Bar Exam shortly thereafter. He spent four years in private practice with Feeman, Mesics, & Hopstetter. He was then elected to serve Lebanon County as its district attorney.During Arnold’s 14-year term as district attorney, he served as President of the Pennsylvania District Attorney’s Association from 2016-2017 following his election to the position by his fellow district attorneys.In lieu of flowers, Senator Arnold’
