Sheridan Commission Approves Transfer of Liquor License – Sheridan Media

The Sheridan County Commission has approved the transfer of a Retail Liquor License for 2021-2022 from Crystal Springs, Inc. d/b/a Parkman Bar to Twisted Woods, LLC d/b/a Parkman Bar & Grill. No comment was offered during the Public hearing at their recent regular meeting, and the commission approved the transfer on a unanimous vote. Ratified by the commission was a permit for Supervised Public Display of Fireworks for D. Bruce Burns for July 4 th at the Big Horn Equestrian Center. The Official Bond and Oath from Brittany Gorzalka, Treasurer of the Sheridan County Fair Board was approved and accepted by the commission as well.

County employees recognized for service – Sheridan Media

Commission Chair Nick Siddle made the presentations. Recognitions were given to Clint Beaver, a deputy county attorney, and Cory Main, a detention corporation with the county sheriff’s office. Both have been employed by the county for five years. In other action Tuesday, commissioners turned their attention to several public hearings dealing with liquor licenses. Commissioners transferred a restaurant liquor license for 2020-2021 from Merc Pizza LLC doing business as Big Horn Mercantile to Big Horn Merc Pizza LLC doing business as Big Horn Mercantile and, in separate action, renewed the license for the 2021-2022 year. Commissioners also renewed retail liquor licenses for the coming year to county guest ranches, Eaton Ranch and The Ranch at Ucross. In addition, retail liquor licenses were renewed for the coming year to 17 bars and other establishments in the county including the Brinton Museum, the Big Horn Equestrian Center and the Wagon Box and Tunnel inns in Story.

Sheridan Commission to Consider Airport Grant Application – Sheridan Media

The Sheridan County Commission will have their first meeting of march on Tuesday and will consider a grant application, contracts, and acceptance of a right-of-way, among a handful of other issues. A grant application for Federal assistance under the Airport Coronavirus Response Grant Program will be considered, as will be two contracts with the Wyoming Department of Health. Acceptance of a right-of-way on Gulch Road is also on the agenda. The commission will ratify the findings and their recent decision concerning the application for the proposed Sheridan Solar project; and will ratify a catering permit for the Big Horn Equestrian Center for the Sheridan College Rodeo Banquet on April 10
