Lukashenko, Putin to meet in Moscow on 22 April

MINSK, 21 April (BelTA) – Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko will make a working visit to the Russian Federation on 22 April, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.
The talks between Aleksandr Lukashenko and his Russian counterpart will take place in Moscow. The two heads of state will discuss the Belarus-Russia agenda, with a focus on trade and economic cooperation, including the matters that were raised at their previous meetings and telephone conversations.
They are to discuss joint efforts to combat the COVID-19 pandemic and further steps to resume transport communication.
PM: Package of proposals on Belarus-Russia integration is almost ready

MINSK, 16 April (BelTA) - A package of proposals for a deeper integration of Belarus and Russia is in a high degree of readiness, Belarus Prime Minister Roman Golovchenko said as he met with his Russian counterpart Mikhail Mishustin on 16 April, BelTA has learned.
“The theme of integration in the economic sector is a priority issue on the bilateral agenda. Our experts have worked out proposals for deeper economic integration. The package is formally at a high level of readiness. There are, however, issues on which no consensus has yet been reached. Basically, these are the issues that are of practical importance for the alignment of the economic conditions of our economic agents. These issues are complex, sensitive, and there is no sense to bypass them, because without a solution to them we will be unable to build a truly union economy and a real integration project,
Supreme State Council of Belarus-Russia Union State to convene in 2021

Balance sheets for Belarus machinery supplies to Russia approved

MOSCOW, 8 April (BelTA) – The High-Level Group of the Council of Ministers of the Belarus-Russia Union State approved the balance sheets for the supply of Belarusian vehicles, tractors and other machinery to Russia, State Secretary of the Union State Dmitry Mezentsev said following the meeting of the High-Level Group on 7 April, BelTA has learned.
