US Authorizes Moderna Vaccine, Making Millions More Doses Available

US Authorizes Moderna Vaccine, Making Millions More Doses Available ANDREW DUNN, BUSINESS INSIDER 19 DECEMBER 2020 The US Food and Drug Administration authorized Moderna s coronavirus shot for emergency use, making the two-dose vaccine the second to be cleared by US regulators. Moderna s vaccine can be given to all people in the US over age 18, the FDA said Friday in a news release. The authorization comes a day after an independent panel of experts recommended that FDA greenlight the shot.   The authorization will boost the US supply of a crucial pandemic-fighting tool, and Moderna s shot is easier to ship and store than the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine. Within days, the US government s Operation Warp Speed vaccine initiative plans to ship out 5.9 million doses of Moderna s shot to more than 3,200 sites across the nation.

Ashraf Amra APA images The health charity Medical Aid for Palestinians issued an urgent call on Monday for boosted emergency funding to Gaza. The number of COVID-19 cases in the besieged territory has increased by more than 65 percent over the past three weeks, the charity stated, “stretching the capacity of Gaza’s beleaguered health system.” Testing capacity is limited to around 2,000 tests per day and the health ministry in the territory temporarily ran out earlier this month. While the World Health Organization made an emergency shipment of kits, health authorities said they amount to only one week’s worth of supplies.

https://www.hangthecensors.com/482703.html (Natural News) Time magazine has designated US coronavirus czar Anthony Fauci as a ‘guardian of the year,’ a new category that emphasizes his dystopian doomsday pronouncements. The message? Sit down, muzzle up, and fear what you’re told to fear. (Article by Helen Buyinski republished from RT.com) Since the first reports of the novel coronavirus on American shores, Fauci has been front and center, scaring the life out of Americans with apocalyptic predictions of millions of deaths that – while they haven’t come to pass – have triggered devastating economic shutdowns. A recent survey found nearly two out of five US families planned to spend the next year in

Six-feet distancing may not work in closed spaces: Study | India News

MUMBAI: While the country is unlocking, a study from South Korea underlines that indoor transmission of the novel coronavirus, especially through air, is still a threat. “Good ventilation is a must to ensure coronavirus doesn’t spread within restricted spaces such as temples, schools, restaurants and markets,” a Covid-19 task force member said. As not all temples in the city are well-ventilated, the government opted to allow limited darshan to ensure crowding does not take place. The South Korean study, published in the Journal of Korean Medical Science, found the novel coronavirus was transmitted from an asymptomatic carrier to a healthy individual in five minutes of exposure. While the World Health Organisation has said set six feet is the acceptable social distance, the Korean transmission occurred despite a distance of 20 feet between the two.
