Indianapolis Ballet is continuing to steadily build its future. More than three years after its 2018 debut, the professional company has hired its first executive director.
The company announced April 6 that longtime Indianapolis arts leader Don Steffy will take the helm and manage the administrative, funding, facility and human resource functions. A search committee, led by Board President Geovani Bonilla, recommended him to the board after a three-month search.
Steffy most recently spent more than a decade as executive director of the Indianapolis Children s Choir, and he was executive director of the Pike Performing Arts Center before that.
