Nur Aqeelah Aina Farhana Abdul Rahim, who appeared before Magistrate Lovely Natasha Charles, was accused of committing the offence at 4pm on June 26 at the roadblock 2 area Jalan Sulaman, near here.  However, no plea was recorded from Nur Aqeelah after the charge was read out to her, who was at the central lock up in Kepayan, via video conferencing. ADVERTISEMENT Aqeelah was jointly charged with another accused Mohd Nor Zainal, 29, who was her husband, to the charge under Section 39B(1)(a) of the Dangerous Drugs Act 1952. The charge carries a punishment with either the death penalty or life in prison and whipping with a minimum of 15 strokes.
