There have been 249 further cases of coronavirus in the last 24 hours, according to Public Health England on Thursday (July 1).
North Somerset recorded 97 new cases, the most in the county, and ahead of Bath and North East Somerset with 77.

Prime Minister Boris Johnson is due to address the nation this afternoon amid reports the Christmas rules could change.
The rules around mixing with up to three households from December 23-27 remain at the moment, no matter what tier you re in, but they are under review.
Mr Johnson will hold a Downing Street press conference at 3.30pm on Wednesday alongside England’s chief medical officer professor Chris Whitty, No 10 has said.
