Restaurants must close at 11pm, and not open before 6am, Prime Minister Robert Abela announced.
Abela unveiled a number of mitigation measures to combat the spread of COVID-19 in the wake of the carnival holidays next month.
Bars and clubs will remain closed for the foreseeable future.
From 11 to 17 February, all those on the Gozo ferry must have their temperature taken. While onboard the boat, people will be required to remain in their cars.

In a tweet, Fearne said the cases have been isolated, and their contacts quarantined.

Malta has recently restricted flights between Malta and the United Kingdom. Non-Maltese nationals and non-residence permit holders will only be able to come to Malta if they are travelling for essential reasons and only after obtaining authorisation from the Public Health Superintendent in Malta prior to boarding.

Air Malta flights between Malta and the UK will remain operational but conditions apply given the travel restrictions that come into force from midnight, the company said.
The airline said that Maltese nationals and persons holding a valid residence permit in Malta will be allowed to travel to Malta from the UK.
Non-Maltese nationals and non-residence permit holders, who are travelling for essential reasons will have to obtain an authorisation from the Public Health Superintendent in Malta prior to boarding. They can apply for an authorisation by sending an email to [email protected]
