PAC ON MANGOCHI MUNICIPAL COUNCIL S NECK OVER K 2000 – Face of Malawi

Public Accounts Committee of Parliament (PAC) has ordered a controlling officer at Mangochi Municipal Council, Veronica Malembo, to recover K2000 that was erroneously paid to Kabaza operator as lunch allowance during one of their Covid-19 sensitization activity. Pac Chairperson Shadreck Namalomba has confirmed the development while saying the K2, 000 (Two Thousand Kwacha) is public money and must be returned to the government account.
