Tony Parsons was reported missing in October 2017 after travelling from his home in Tillicoultry, Clackmannanshire, to Fort William, before aiming to cycle home. He travelled south on the A82 Inverness to Glasgow road, and was last seen outside the Bridge of Orchy Hotel at around 11.30 pm on October 2, 2017.

07:40 EDT, 13 January 2021 A man has been arrested after remains found on an industrial estate more than three months ago were identified. The remains were found inside a unit on the estate in Whitehill Road, Glenrothes, on Sunday September 27 last year. Police released a facial reconstruction created by experts at Liverpool John Moores University as part of their efforts to identify them. Experts at Liverpool John Moores University created this facial recognition of the recovered remains which helped identify Ean Coutts, left, who lived in the village of Kinglassie, Fife The remains were found inside a unit on the estate in Whitehill Road, Glenrothes, on Sunday September 27 last year. A 30-year-old man has been questioned by police in connection with the discovery. He has been released pending further inquiries

The remains, found at the Whitehill Industrial Estate in Glenrothes in September last year, have been confirmed as those of 61-year-old man Kinglassie man Ean Coutts. His death is being treated as suspicious and yesterday a 30-year-old man was arrested in connection with the death and released pending further inquiries. Police are now carrying out searches of a number of addresses in the Glenrothes and Kinglassie areas.
