Two Palestinian political prisoners complete 18 years behind bars
JENIN, Friday, January 15, 2021 (WAFA) – Two Palestinian freedom fighters and political prisoners in Israeli detention complete today 18 years in Israeli occupation s prisons, said the Palestinian Prisoner s Society (PPS).
Mohammad Ahmad Abol-Rob, who comes from the town of Qabatiya in the occupied West Bank, was detained by Israeli occupation forces on January 15, 2003, and was sentenced to 30 years in prison for his activism in the armed resistance against the Israeli occupation.
The other prisoner, Hamza Mohammad Abulheija, from Jenin refugee camp, was also arrested on the same day, and was sentenced to 26 years in prison under the same grounds.

RAMALLAH, Thursday, January 14, 2021 (WAFA) – In an early morning Israeli army raid on two Ramallah-area villages, soldiers rounded up more than 20 Palestinians, according to Palestinian security sources.
They said that soldiers raided the village of al-Mughayyer, northeast of Ramallah, and rounded up at least 16 Palestinians, five of them were later released. The detainees included the father and brother of Ali Abu Alayya, a 13-year-old boy shot and killed by Israeli soldiers in the village in early December.
The soldiers also raided Kufr Malik town, also northeast of Ramallah, and detained six Palestinians, said the sources.
