Rep. Tim Burchett (R., Tenn.) is demanding the Justice and Treasury Departments launch an investigation into the ActBlue charity platform following a
Washington Free Beacon report exposing the organization s work with an anti-Israel group allegedly tied to multiple terror organizations.
Burchett, a member of the House Foreign Affairs Committee, says that ActBlue an online donation portal that primarily services liberal and Democrat-aligned organizations could be violating U.S. anti-terrorism laws by facilitating donations to the Palestinian Campaign for the Academic and Cultural Boycott of Israel (PACBI), an anti-Israel organization that plays a central role in the Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions movement.

The features of the electoral lists competing in the upcoming Palestinian Legislative Council election are not yet clear. The only certain thing is that Fatah will ally itself with five Palestinian factions: the Palestinian Democratic Union (FIDA); the Arab Liberation Front (ALF); the Palestinian Popular Struggle Front (PPSF); the Palestinian Liberation Front (PLF); and the Palestinian Arab Front (PAF). They are very marginal groups, and their affiliates or icons of some are still unknown, even to those following the Palestinian issue closely.

The ActBlue charity platform is facilitating payments to an anti-Israel group tied to multiple terror organizations, potentially violating U.S. anti-terrorism laws, according to a legal group.
ActBlue, an online donation portal that primarily services liberal and Democrat-aligned organizations, works with Palestinian Campaign for the Academic and Cultural Boycott of Israel (PACBI), a hate group that is controlled by a coalition of organizations that the United States and other countries have designated as foreign terror organizations, according to the Zachor Legal Institute, a think-tank and advocacy organization that fights anti-Semitism.

Five Palestinian factions and PLO members have agreed to run for Palestinian parliamentary elections on a united list with Fatah, member of PLO Executive Committee and Fatah Central Council Azzam Al-Ahmad said yesterday.
Speaking to
Palestine Radio, Al-Ahmad said that his movement had agreed and already started to make contacts with other factions to form alliances in the upcoming elections.
He stated that his movement is working with the five PLO factions to reach a final agreement with them.
