New Delhi [India], May 24 (ANI): A petition has been moved in the Delhi High Court on Monday, challenging the notification stating doctors and allied medical staff to function in a single category.
The plea seeks quashing of the notification dated May 16, 2021, as issued by the Principal Secretary, Health and Family Welfare Department, the Government of NCT of Delhi.
The Bench of Justice Rekha Palli on Monday asked the Delhi Government counsel to take instructions in the matter and posted the matter for May 27.
AP CM YS Jagan Discusses Cyclone Yaas Preparation With Amit Shah May 24, 2021, 13:17 IST
AMARAVATI/NEW DELHI: Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Monday held a video conference with the Chief Ministers of Andhra Pradesh, Odisha West Bengal and the Lieutenant Governor of Andaman and Nicobar Islands to review the states preparedness ahead of the upcoming Cyclone Yaas.
Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy participated in this virtual meeting from the CM Camp Office here. The measures to be taken in view of Cyclone Yaas affecting the respective states were discussed.
CM YS Jagan said there was a possibility of a slight impact on Northern AP and the coastal areas, considering the cyclones movements on the state. He also explained that the government machinery was vigilant and was moving forward while assessing the situation. The evacuation process of people in vulnerable areas has commenced in Srikakulam district, bordering Odisha. Helplines have been set up
Three new oxygen plants to come up in Ladakh by May end
The oxygen plants would be dispatched by the supplier shortly and the plants will be commissioned by the end of May, 2021, Principal Secretary Health and Medical Education Pawan Kotwal said.

LEH: Three new oxygen plants will be commissioned in the Union Territory of Ladakh by the end of May to meet the needs of coronavirus patients.
This was stated at a meeting chaired by Lt Governor R K Mathur here on Saturday to review the preparedness of the health department for COVID-19 handling with detailed discussions on infrastructure, procurement of essential equipment and medicines, an official spokesman said.
