Five takeaways on the House s return to budget earmarks Cristina Marcos © Greg Nash Minority Whip Steve Scalise (R-La.) Earmarks are back in full force as lawmakers prepare for a massive infrastructure package and look to sweeten the appropriations process this year for the first time in more than a decade. Maryland COVID indoor dining restrictions confusion

Maryland restaurants grapple with varying indoor dining restrictions, industry calls for reduced limitations The president of the Maryland Restaurant Association wants all the state s jurisdictions to get on the same page. Restaurants in Montgomery County are currently on an island. Dining indoors at 50% capacity is approved on the state level, but Montgomery County is the only jurisdiction blocking indoor dining altogether.
