House prices are rising rapidly across Ceredigion, Pembrokeshire and Carmarthenshire THE average house price in Wales has topped £200,000 for the first time, and now stands at £209,723, despite a series of lockdowns in 2020. Carmarthenshire s price average is now £183,490, an increase of 11.1 per cent; prices in Pembrokeshire have risen to an average of £219,581, an annual increase of 5.8 per cent, while Ceredigion prices have risen to £222,145, an annual increase of 8.7 per cent. The figures have been released from Principality Building Society’s Wales House Price Index for Q4 2020 (October-December), which demonstrates the rise and fall in house prices in each of the 22 local authorities in Wales.
