KARACHI (Dunya News) - Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) President Sardar Masood Khan called on Sindh Governor Dr Imran Ismail on Sunday, Dunya News reported.
According to sources, matters pertaining to public welfare measures and issues of mutual interests came under discussion in meeting between Sardar Masood Khan and Dr Imran Ismail.
Earlier, addressing the Karachi Press Club’s “Meet the Press” programme on Sunday, Sardar Masood Khan said that the people of Jammu and Kashmir were ready to accept any offer of third party mediation for a peaceful and just solution to the Kashmir issue, provided the Kashmiris are included in the mediation process as the major party to the dispute,

The Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) President Sardar Masood Khan has said that India under a well thought out strategy is erasing everything related to the history of Muslims or the religion of Islam in occupied Jammu and Kashmir. The BJP-RSS regime has hinted at building 100,000 Hindu temples and pulling down dozens of mosques which, they falsely claim, had been built after demolishing Hindu temples, he said.
Addressing the participants of Photographic and Cultural Exhibition, titled Tribute to Kashmiris Resilience in Their Just Struggle for Right to Self Determination organized at the Foreign Office; the state s president said that the Indian fanatic rulers were eliminating everything which depicted the religion, culture and the languages of the Muslims in Occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
AJK has potential to become a silicon valley of Pakistan: Masood Khan
Islamabad, February 10, 2021 (PPI-OT): The Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) President Sardar Masood Khan has highly appreciated the Akhuwat Foundation’s welfare projects that aim to alleviate poverty and improve health and education for the most vulnerable and disadvantaged people in the country.
He said this after a briefing given to him by a senior member of the Board of Directors of Akhuwat Foundation Pakistan, Mohammad Salim Ahmed Ranjha here on Wednesday. The President said that AJK will fully cooperate with the Akhuwat Foundation in its endeavour to combat hunger, alleviate poverty and improve the health and education sector in AJK.

Masood invites investors to tap investment opportunities in AJK

Islamabad:Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) President Sardar Masood Khan said that AJK possessed huge investment potential in almost every sector of economy and invited Pakistani investors to tap all investment opportunities in AJK for earning lucrative results. He said that the US$5 billion AJK economy has the potential to grow into US$20-30 billion economy within 10 years, which showed its attractiveness for investors.
He said that AJK has the potential to become an engine of growth for Pakistan. He expressed these views while addressing the business community at Islamabad Chamber of Commerce & Industry (ICCI). Representatives of Mirpur, Jhelum, Sialkot, Gujranwala, Bhawalpur and Karachi Chambers of Commerce & Industry also joined the session through a zoom meeting.
