The establishment of new industrial units by Chinese, Asian, European, Turkish and Saudi companies at the industrial zone of Faisalabad Industrial Estate Development and Management Company (FIEDMC) will generate employment opportunities on a vast scale besides providing revenue for the government.
These views were expressed by FIEDMC Chairman Mian Kashif Ashfaq during his visit to the Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) on Thursday.

Pakistan and the United Kingdom are steady trade and economic partners and have immense potential to take bilateral trade volume to new heights.
Talking to a two-member delegation of the UK, Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) President Mian Tariq Misbah said that the UK was a lucrative destination and it could help Pakistan increase its exports.
The two sides held discussions on a number of issues including bilateral trade, investment, Brexit scenario and GSP Plus status for Pakistan.

Pakistani entrepreneurs should explore joint venture opportunities with their Belgian counterparts, Belgium Trade Commissioner Abid Hussain said and cited pharmaceutical, gems, jewellery and diamond as the most lucrative areas.
Speaking to Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) President Mian Tariq Misbah, Hussain highlighted that pharmaceutical, gems and jewellery sectors in Belgium were advanced with abundant opportunities for investment and joint ventures.
“Pakistani businessmen should come forward and avail themselves of these opportunities,” he said, adding, “A Pakistani company is already investing in the pharmaceutical sector there but this sector of Pakistan should make a strong presence there.”
